We broke 2050 clients just now. The guys are on their fourth straight weekend of "sorry, gotta do this". Why oh why didn't I take the BLUE pill? :-) Thinking about writing another screensaver for Grub? Check out this screensaver howto page.

More Grub Growth

Wow, we broke 1000 clients on Monday and it looks like we'll be breaking through 1500 today. Should be able to bring 5 more servers online today. Can't wait for next week when we get auto-setup for the grub config and can blast an image onto a server quickly and easily.
Update: Grub got Slashdotted. We're back in emergency mode bringing the new servers online. Currently in test.

Sam Won Korean BBQ

On Junmo's recommendation, we ate at Sam Won Korean BBQ at Telegraph and 27th. Yum.

Tax Day

Tax day! Also, had fun visiting with Joe and Hyeja and their two sons Andrew and Matthew.

WokWiz tour, Grub growth

What an amazing day. We broke 1000 clients on grub.org starting from less than 500 early in the day. This thing is on fire...but the hamsters are kicking up their heels and dying (another 9 servers on the way since last week...not so sure how much love I feel for Rackable these days). Another fun SF thing to do - Plato took me on a walking tour of Chinatown, the one run by Shirley Fong-Torres of WokWiz. Highly recommend it.

Office Jargon

Here's a hilarious site that was mailed to me: BBC America's Office Jargon Dictionary. I especially like "prairie dogging" and "pigeon managing". Heh.

Greens and GGF

We went to Greens Restaurant for dinner last night with our good friend Shan Shan. Wonderful starters, really great desserts,...but my curry main dish I considered so-so. Other folks really liked their main courses, so I may have chosen poorly. Technical site(s) of the day: The Global Grid Forum, DRMAA, and BOINC (been aware of these for a while, but need to get them into a bookmarks list). Two fun outings (Jayson Wechter's San Francisco Treasure Hunt and the Reduced Shakespeare Company suggested by my friend Ryan Vartio. Collected futurists.
